Ember days

The Olde Farmer's Almanac says that December 14, 16 and 17 are ember days.
"Folklore has it that the weather on each of the three days foretells the weather for the next three months," the almanac says.
That would mean that Wednesday foretells the weather for January, Thursday for February, and Friday for March. We'll see.
