Bumble bee nest revisted

For reasons clear only to myself, I returned to the site where I'd found a bumble bee nest, just days earlier.
To be frank, I was worried that the nest might have got flooded in recent thunderstorms. But happily I found the bees thriving. The nest, it turned out, is in a well-drained bank. And despite strong winds (which you can hear on this video clip (along with a helicopter from nearby Oakland airport), the bees were busier than ever.
