Project Runway should issue a native bee challenge

Imagine you had a gatheirng basket built onto your leg. How different would that be?

That's how this honey bee is carrying that big clump of orange pollen you can see on her leg.
Maybe it would look weird from a fashion perspective, but it would free up your hands.


I think Project Runway should have a challenge where participants make outfits based on what bees really look like, up close and personal.
(I'm sick of Halloween "bee" costumes that look like wasps, even though I I ended up wearing one this year.)

Project Runway designers could have a lot of fun once they figure out that bees have furry little vests, stripey skirts, pollen baskets, honey crops and massive compound eyes.
